Tyler joined the firm in 2005. He is a transactional lawyer focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions, commercial, securities and general corporate law.

Recent Assignments

  • Assisted in the creation of a credit facility in the amount of 12 billion Japanese yen (or approximately $110 million)
  • Assisted with representation as seller's counsel for $530 million acquisition of a publicly traded steel company by a Japanese corporation
  • Assisted with representation of a management-level buyout of a regional printing company
  • Assisted with representation of a multinational lender, as loan seller's counsel, in connection with its securitization of fixed rated commercial mortgage loans
  • Assists with representation of a $4 billion fund-of-funds in connection with its investments, financing structure and general governance matters

Before Stites & Harbison

Tyler joined Stites & Harbison in September 2005 after participating in the firm's summer associate program in 2003 and 2004. In the summer of 2004, Tyler was also a summer associate with Alston &Bird, LLP, in Atlanta. Before law school, Tyler worked as an assistant to the Special Counsel to the Governor of Indiana.

Besides Stites & Harbison

Outside of practicing, Tyler enjoys overseas travel, music and fly fishing. He also manages to be a passionate fan of both University of Kentucky and Indiana University athletics.
