Louisville Slugger Museum
Stites & Harbison's attorneys helped the project architect and developer—Bill Weyland, AIA—put together the deal (involving an innovative Build-Own-Transfer structure that addressed environmental, historic preservation, parking and downtown development demands) that made the new $15 million Louisville Slugger Museum and bat factory a reality . . . and one of the city's biggest tourist attractions. The firm also represented the contractor, Struck Construction Co., Inc. The engineer for the project was Proctor Davis Ray Engineers, Lexington, Ky.
